What is it? —
A Rose Engine is an ornamental turning lathe machine that produces beautiful patterns, usually in the shape of circle that often represents the rose in nature. A Mandala is a circle pattern that has a legacy over time of representing life, peace, beauty, the mind, eternity and even the soul itself.
The Mandala Rose Engine is a compact and lightweight — but sturdy, flexible, and transportable machine capable of producing creative and beautiful ornamental patterns in wood.
A preview of the Mandala Rose Engine was provided at the Ornamental SIN (Special Interest Night) at the 2008 AAW Symposium in Richmond, Virginia. The response was overwhelming, and appreciated! Thanks to all who came and commented on the Mandala Rose Engine!
Machine weight —
The Rose Engine and Cutting Frame are in the 40-50 lb. range with no individual components being over 35 lbs. This allows you to move the machine to a storage area when not in use, freeing up your valuable shop space! Shipping weight of the Rose Engine and cutting frame come in at slightly less than 45 lbs.
Advanced features and add-ons are included —
The Mandala Rose Engine also includes many advanced Rose Engine features as part of the base unit with many add-ons planned for the future.
